Welcome to the blog of amateur photographer, professional ballet dancer and painter Frances Chae.

A Texas born girl living in California with a love for adventure, my style is best described as lifestyle/travel photography. A self-proclaimed nomad, this is the fourth state I've lived in in the past four years. Traveling and moving around has created in me a knack for exploring and taking photographs to document my wanderings. Along with photographs is a glimpse into the daily life of ballet dancers, books I'm reading, and any crafting or cooking I may be doing at the moment.

Armed with my Minolta x-700, Canon Rebel t3i or iPhone 7 at all times, I love traveling around California, photographing the nature, architecture and lifestyle.
