Calligraphy class

Yours truly just hosted her first calligraphy class in the one and only-Sacramento! Friends have long been asking me when I would teach them how to use my “quill” and alas, 2019 is the year. For the first round, I gathered four girlfriends to do a test class and luckily my amazingly talented friend Nelli was there to capture some of the moments we shared. There were laughs, there were tears, but most importantly there was progress! Perfectionism is something we all strive for and sadly two hours is not long enough for perfectionism to be attained in any craft. But the beauty of calligraphy is how much practice makes you improve and how much can be practiced while watching old reruns of Friends or sporting events you have no actual interest in.
