christmas eve eve

As I wait for Christmas card stamps to arrive and the rest of my last minute shopping, the holiday frenzy is upon us. We’ve been in the states for a week and a half so far and visited three different cities in that time. It is nonstop. But we’re trying our best to take in all of this sweet time with family that doesn’t come as often as we would like. Finally coming off the end of a week long cold, rest and lots of water have been key in the midst of my stomach trying to readjust to American cuisine, and the overall abundance of tempting sweet things around every corner during the holiday season.

There’s been antiquing, long coffees with old friends (vanilla oat lattes, my favorite American indulgence), birthday celebrations, vintage jewelry browsing, Freya try-ons, and lots of people time. I got to spend some time over at the Mirth studios, playing dressup in some of their Fall 22 faves, and even got a sneak peek of Resort 23 and let me tell you, it is good !! Squeezing in a workout or yoga class here and there seems to be the secret to keeping a little sanity and finding some moments of calm in the chaos.

Made a little holiday gift guide over for Mirth if you want to take a peak! I have to say some of the other staff picks were brands I hadn’t heard of and wow, I am loving discovering them. I’m already saving ideas for next year…Sabah mules, art books, Courtney Barton, Typology, and Sunday shop homegoods to name a few.

If you’re still looking for any gifts, I have it on good authority that most of my family members will be receiving Mirth pajamas…they’re available in the most beautiful prints.

I’ve barely had any time to post, so thought I’d share a few glimpses of what we’ve been up to. Uncharacteristically cold fronts in Texas and Florida have called for cozy fireside times and bundling up to be beside the water.
