Marburger Minute

As a wise man once said, "You may all go to Hell, and I'll go to Texas".

Thus went my spring break. (Thank you Davy Crockett)

After a round of shows of Peter Pan and Viva Vivaldi in Sacramento, I had a week off to do some resting, relaxing and exploring. After a quick trip to San Francisco, I headed back to home sweet Texas for a few days. There's no place like home, and Houston never fails to hit me with its humidity the instant I step out of the airport.

I spent a few days filled with catching up with friends and family, including my first ever Round Top experience.  Every year this antique fair fills fields upon fields in Round Top, Texas with treasures galore. So, Friday morning we headed to one of the bigger sites at Marburger. I managed to come out unscathed, leaving only with a vintage farm print. My aunt, sister and mom left Round Top with linen sheets, silver bowls, and pitchers-only a small representation of the various treasures that can be found there.

Here are some of the pictures I captured on my Minolta x-700 with Kodak Portra 400 film.
